CMAT stands for Common Management Admission Test. It is a national-level computer-based test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to management programmes approved by AICTE and other participating institutions.

CMAT 2023 Eligibility

• Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved categories).

• Final year students of bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply.

CMAT 2023 Exam Pattern

CMAT is a three-hour online test consisting of 100 questions divided into four sections:

• Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation (25 questions)

• Logical Reasoning (25 questions)

• Language Comprehension (25 questions)

Each question carries four marks. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) for admissions to MBA and allied programmes at over 600 B-schools in India. The exam is conducted in multiple sessions in four phases – February, May, September and December. Candidates can appear for the MAT exam in any session any number of times. The score of the latest attempt will be taken into consideration for MBA Admission.

MAT Exam Pattern

The MAT exam is a 200-question objective test that is divided into five sections:

• Language Comprehension (40 questions)

• Data Analysis and Sufficiency (40 questions)

• Mathematical Skills (40 questions)

• Intelligence and Critical Reasoning (40 questions)

• Indian and Global Environment (40 questions)

Each section has a time limit of 40 minutes. There is no sectional time restraint, which means you have to manage time effectively among different sections.

To be eligible for the MAT exam, candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or be in the final year of their bachelor's degree.
