Module 1: Basic Electronics
Transformers, ICs, Crystals.
Practical use and handling of electronic tools.
Module 2: Fundamentals of Computer (Card Level Training)
Meaning and uses of computer.
Generations and types of computers.
Introduction to operating systems (MS-DOS commands, internal and external).
Introduction to basic software installation and use.
Module 3: Computer Hardware & Parts (Desktop and Laptop)
Study of components: SMPS, Hard Disk, Cabinet, Monitor, RAM, CPU, Motherboard, CD/DVD drive.
RAM and ROM types, Keyboard, Mouse, Add-on Cards, Cables and Connectors.
Assembly and Disassembly of Desktop and Laptop systems.
Identification of faults and replacement of faulty parts.
Module 4: Networking Basics (Card Level Training)
Meaning and concept of networking.
Types of networks (LAN, WAN, MAN) and topologies (Bus, Star, Ring).
Network cables and connectors – UTP, STP, RJ45, RJ11.
Crimping of cables – Cross-over and Straight-through.
IP Addressing, Subnetting, and basic networking commands.
Sharing of files, folders, and printers over a network.
Internet configuration and troubleshooting.
Module 5: Advanced Chip Level Desktop & Laptop Repairing
Introduction to chip-level repairing tools: Soldering station, Multimeter, DC power supply, BIOS programmer, etc.
Laptop motherboard architecture and voltage testing.
Troubleshooting no power, no display, heating issues, and charging problems.
BIOS flashing and reprogramming.
Replacing ICs, MOSFETs, and chipset components.
Practical chip-level repair exercises.
Students who have completed or not completed SSC (10th) can apply.
Basic knowledge of computer operation is helpful but not compulsory.
